The public is invited to the Physics department to view the wonders of the night sky through our telescopes. You are encouraged to ask questions of professors and students. Observation takes place on the roof, so dress comfortably and for the outdoors. There is elevator access to the roof. Telescope viewings can only take place if cloud cover permits, but the public talk will be held regardless of weather.

Our format is to start with a 30 minute talk on a different topic each night, starting at 8 p.m. We will meet in the lobby of Building 50 before the talk and the roof will only be accessible via the elevator. If you arrive after 8:30 p.m. please take the elevator to the 4th floor. No reservations are needed.
