Art Speaks! presents an overview of the First Amendment and then focuses on its interaction with the arts. The extension of protected speech status, obscenity, hate speech, graffiti, street art and limitations on public funding are explained. Students are given the opportunity to present opposing arguments from actual cases for an appreciation of different viewpoints.

Please purchase a guest parking pass and park in designated areas for guests.

This lecture is free and open to the public. It is offered through Jenny Hager's Business of Art Class and the UNF Pre-Law Program.

This event is sponsored by the UNF College of Arts and Sciences, the Pre-Law Speakers Series and The Pre-Law Program at the University North Florida.
