Dr. Barbara Stephenson, a minister counselor in the career Senior Foreign Service, will present "The Latin Americans: Their Love-Hate Relationship with the U.S."  Stephenson, who joined the State Department in 1985, began her foreign service career as U.S. Ambassador to Panama and later served in El Salvador. Her appointments have included Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in London and later acting Charge d'Affaires. This event is part of the Distinguished Voices Lecture Series.
