Science on Tap - JAX is a monthly science speaker series creating deeper conversation and understanding of topics relevant to the Jacksonville community. For the August event, Professor of Epidemiology and Environmental Health of the University of North Florida, Dr. Kerry Clark, will discuss his research and findings on the pesky little parasitic arachnid: ticks—and the infectious diseases they can carry and transmit to humans.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-talk mix and mingle. The presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. A question and answer session will be held following the talk.

The event is free and open to the public.
