This session exists for current users of the Top Hat platform and includes a deep dive into the platform, information about LTI 1.3, and Top Hat's product development road map. Learn more about the UNF and Top Hat partnership and see a live demo of the platform.

Top Hat gives educators the flexibility to deliver meaningful, equitable, and student-centered learning experiences in class and out. Their cloud-based courseware leverages students’ devices to increase in-class engagement and real-time feedback.

Using Top Hat, you can:

  • Deepen discussions with in-class polling and quizzes that let every student voice their ideas and questions confidently.
  • Create interactive readings and assignments that extend engagement outside of the classroom and allow students to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways.
  • Build your own content or adapt author-created content down to individual words or images to keep material relevant to and representative of your students.
  • Integrate active learning into every lecture and assignment, while collecting valuable insights into the participation and progress of your students.
  • Make learning fun and effective with Top Hat’s engaging active learning app that students can access from anywhere.
  • Get resources to help you teach with active learning principles in your course.
This is a hybrid offering available in person or virtually. Refreshments will be provided.
