The Carpenter Library is open 24 hours through Friday, December 13. Numerous events and activities are planned. 

  • PAWS Your Stress: Noon to 2 p.m. Monday, December 9; meet Canine Companions for Independence friendly service dogs in training
  • Free late-night coffee, tea and snacks: 8 p.m. Sunday, December 8, through Wednesday, December 11; refreshments will be available on the Library's first floor, until supplies run out
  • Zzz-Zone: Friday, December 6, through Friday, December 13; a quiet place for naps will be available, third floor reading room 
  • Coloring and Game Stations: Friday, December 6, through Friday, December 13; Library's second floor 
  • Random Acts of Snacks: Random times and days; Library staff and partnering departments will offer treats to students studying in the library
