“The Art of Hope” presented by Operation New Hope will showcase the art and writing of people impacted by the criminal justice system to give voice to people who have been excluded by incarceration and challenge our assumptions about the criminal justice system.

At Operation New Hope, our mission is to provide support and training designed to break the cycle of incarceration. As part of our Career Development and Mental Health services, Operation New Hope delivers weekly art therapy classes to our clients. Over the years, we have learned how powerful art and storytelling can be in healing. Through these art therapy sessions, we have prepared our clients for reentry success by providing another tool to use as they rebuild their lives after incarceration. Some of our clients have shared their art and writing with us through works created both in and outside of our program. And now, we would like to share these works with the community.
