 roving you are not alone. An effective thesis statement can make or break 
 an essay\, and being able to craft an effective thesis statement is a skil
 l that will transfer to every other area of your life. It is an essential 
 skill everyone should know\, but not many master.\n\nThis workshop will ex
 amine what makes a thesis statement most effective\, discuss strategies fo
 r writing and revising thesis statements\, and examine sample thesis state
 ments from a variety of disciplines and situations. This workshop will be 
 offered in person in the UNF Writing Center and on Zoom for those who cann
 ot attend in person.
