The Writing Program & Center's third Lunch & Learn session of the semester focuses on the ways faculty and staff can help teach, guide, and reinforce effective academic habits in ways that support students' success. Dylan Charles (Director, Student Academic Success Services) will share resources with faculty who want to help students develop successful academic habits (e.g., time management, taking notes, how to study, presentation skills). While the first-year writing classroom serves as the primary focal point for this Lunch & Learn, strategies discussed and information shared will also benefit faculty teaching first-year and general education courses.
