Join artist Reed Harper in MOCA’s 5th floor studio twice a month for a two-part wheel-throwing ceramics course. Each ticket includes two classes within the same month as a two-part course, on the first and second Saturdays, and the third and fourth Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. 

In the first session, students will receive demonstrations on foundational techniques such as centering clay on the wheel and shaping basic pottery forms. During the second session, they’ll learn how to trim and decorate their pieces. By the end of both classes, students will have the knowledge and skills to throw functional pottery. Students who have taken throwing-wheel classes will also be able to wheel-throw independently when they register for Seize the Clay.
