UNF School of Computing is hosting an AI-Augmented Solution Engineering Contest for senior and graduate students. This event will be a dynamic coding challenge in which student teams use AI tools to develop innovative solutions that meet real-world specifications. We aim to emphasize prompt-driven development, functional creativity, and solution quality. The challenge is about engineering with intelligence—students will leverage AI not just to code, but also to think, design, test, and deliver solutions that comply with the given specifications.

Challenge Day Overview:

A brief introduction to the problem specifications and user stories will be provided from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Students will choose from two challenge tracks: one focused on full-stack web development and the other on data science, specifically analyzing social media data. Student teams of 3 will begin working on their chosen challenges at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m.
