UNF School of Computing is hosting an AI-Augmented Solution Engineering Contest for senior and graduate students. This event will be a dynamic coding challenge in which student teams use AI tools to develop innovative solutions that meet real-world specifications. We aim to emphasize prompt-driven development, functional creativity, and solution quality. The challenge is about engineering with intelligence—students will leverage AI not just to code, but also to think, design, test, and deliver solutions that comply with the given specifications.

Student teams will present their AI-generated source code solutions for the challenge specifications from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Following the presentations at 1:00 p.m., we will host a reflection session for students, faculty, coaches, and judges. This session will provide an opportunity to share experiences, discuss trends in AI-assisted code generation, and offer career guidance to students. The session will also be open to the public so that industry members can learn from the event discussions. Everyone is welcome to participate in the reflection session.
