UNF's Freshmen Orientation is designed to provide you with the key tools and resources necessary to be successful at UNF. During Orientation, you will interact with current UNF students, faculty, staff, and meet with an academic advisor. Registering for and attending first-year Orientation programming is a University requirement for all incoming first-year students. Although it is not mandatory for family members to register for and attend a Student Orientation session, students can add family members for Parent and Family Orientation in their applicant portal.
On day one, students and registered family members will spend most of the day together, but will have some separate activites, with family members ending the day around 5:00 p.m. and students staying overnight at the Osprey Fountains Residence Hall. On day two, students and registered family members will be on separate schedules and will reconnect at the end of the day around noon. This event takes place around campus. Orientation begins for both students and their families at the Osprey Fountains Residence Hall for check-in.
Note: This is a two day event. Thursday, July 10 - Friday, July 11
