UNF's New Student Orientation is designed to provide students with the key tools and resources necessary to be successful at UNF. During Orientation, students will interact with current UNF students, faculty, and staff. Registering for and attending New Student Orientation programming is a University requirement for all incoming first-year students. Although it is not mandatory for family members to register for and attend Orientation, we highly encourage signing up to gain valuable insight into life at UNF. After registering and paying for a New Student Orientation session, students can add family members to Parent and Family Orientation in their applicant portal in the Orientation tab.

On day one, students and registered family members will spend most of the day together but will have some separate activities. Family members ending the day around 5:00 p.m. while students stay overnight at the Osprey Fountains residence hall. On day two, students and registered family members will be on separate schedules and will reconnect to end the day with us around noon. This event takes place around campus. Orientation begins for both students and their families at the Osprey Fountains residence hall for check-in.
