UNF's Freshmen Orientation is designed to provide you with the key tools and resources necessary to be successful at UNF. During Orientation, you will interact with current UNF students and staff, and meet with an academic advisor. Registering for and attending first-year Orientation programming is a University requirement for all incoming first-year students. Although it is not mandatory for family members to register for and attend an Orientation session, students can add family members for Parent and Family Orientation in their applicant portal.
Students and registered family members will participate in morning programming and have lunch together in the Osprey Café and then will have separate activites in the afternoon. Students and family members will reconnect around 4:00 p.m. to finish out the day. This event takes place around campus. Orientation begins for both students and their families in the John A. Delaney Student Union for check-in.
