The Crisis Management Team will test the indoor and outdoor PA systems. A message indicating "this is a test" will play throughout indoor buildings and across the outdoor public address system. Occupants do not have to vacate buildings and the campus community does not have to act on the outdoor message, since this is only a test. The test message will repeat for approximately two minutes to provide an opportunity for Building Emergency Coordinators to report on the audibility of the message and the visibility of the strobe lights. In the event of an emergency, the University will implement an appropriate emergency management plan, which can be viewed on the Emergency Management webpage.
