In this session from the Office of Faculty Excellence, we discuss the non-tenure track faculty promotion process for Assistant to Associate as well as Associate to University. We review the CBA and, where applicable, department guidelines before outlining required dossier materials, effective annual preparation steps, and university committee expectations. Guests from across the university share perspectives, including instructors who have successfully navigated the process and representatives who can speak to questions about the CBA and department guidelines. This session is helpful for all NTT faculty, whether in their first year or as they apply for promotion in the next cycle.
