DESCRIPTION:This Orientation event welcomes the new cohort of the Youth Env
 ironmental Leadership Program (YELP) at the UNF Institute of Environmental
  Research and Education. The event will introduce accepted YELP students t
 o UNF\, outline the YELP program project opportunities and program expecta
 tions\, engage students with nature\, and provide a chance to meet fellow 
 participants and mentors for the upcoming year. The goal of this program i
 s to provide high school students pre-collegiate experience to complete co
 mmunity-based environmental projects. The focus for YELP is for youth to c
 onnection other youth to nature. \n\n \n\nNote: This event is exclusively 
 for the accepted 2026-2027 cohort of the Youth Environmental Leadership Pr
 ogram
